Hannah Orenstein is a writer and editor living in New York.

She writes for Cosmopolitan.com, Seventeen.com, Refinery29, xoJane, Bustle, Thought Catalog, Mediabistro, and more. Her work has been syndicated on ELLE.com, HarpersBazaar.com, Redbook.com, and GoodHousekeeping.com. She has five years of experience writing about entertainment, dating, style, health, college, and careers.

During her time at NYU, she was an editorial intern at Cosmopolitan.com, ELLE, Seventeen, the Huffington Post, Mashable, and Her Campus, and worked as a matchmaker for the dating service Tawkify. She founded The HBIC Project, an interview series that highlights the accomplishments of incredible 20-something women, and was the entertainment editor at NYU Local. She also launched the High School section of Her Campus, and founded and managed the High School Ambassador program, where she taught weekly virtual lessons in journalism and public relations to 100 high school students across the country and abroad.

Hannah loves reading magazines and novels, vintage clothing, Twitter, New York City, and Chinese takeout.
