Hannah Orenstein is a writer, editor, and transcriber living in New York.

She is a matchmaker at Tawkify, a dating start-up, and the editor-in-chief of The HBIC Project, an interview series that highlights the accomplishments of incredible 20-something women.

She has editorial internship experience at ELLE, Seventeen, the Huffington Post, Mashable, and Her Campus. She’s also a weekly contributor to NYU Local, and a freelance writer for Thought Catalog, xoJane, Jewcy, and more. During her three years as a staff writer at Her Campus, she founded and edited the High School section, and founded and managed the High School Ambassador program, in which she taught weekly virtual lessons in journalism and public relations to 100 high school students across the country and abroad.

Hannah is well-versed in writing for the women’s, college, and teen markets. She frequently covers entertainment, relationships, health, style, the college application process, human interest stories, and personal essays.

In her free time, Hannah likes to practice yoga, travel, explore New York’s culinary scene, and stare longingly at cats for adoption. When she turns seventy and pens a memoir, it will be titled Perpetually In Search of a Bagel.
