Hannah Orenstein is the author of four novels and the Deputy Editor of Dating at Elite Daily. She writes about bold women with heart, humor, and chutzpah — exploring their love stories, their careers, their family and friends. (Also, their New York City adventures, dating disasters, martinis, cheese boards, and feelings. Lots of feelings.)
Her new novel, Meant to Be Mine, is forthcoming from Atria Books on June 7 and currently available for pre-order. It’s about a New York City stylist named Edie whose beloved grandmother Gloria has predicted the date on which every member of her family would meet their soulmate. She’s forced to question whether Theo, the sexy musician she meets on her prophesied date, is actually The One — especially after a shocking revelation rocks her carefully constructed world.
She’s also the author of Head Over Heels, Love at First Like, and Playing with Matches. Her books have been featured on several “Best Of” lists by O, the Oprah Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Goodreads, and many more.
Her writing can be found in the Washington Post, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Refinery29, BuzzFeed, and Bustle. Hannah’s been featured in the Boston Globe, the New York Post, The Cut, Us Weekly, and many more. She’s a speaker and frequent podcast guest, appearing on BuzzFeed’s AM2DM, Cheddar, You Up w/ Nikki Glaser, At Least You Woke Up with Jill Kargman, and The Michelle Collins Show, among others.
Previously, Hannah was an editor at Seventeen.com. At 21, she became the youngest matchmaker at a luxury dating service (the inspiration for her debut novel). She lives in Brooklyn with her fat cat, Eloise.
